Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is seeking two (2) Research Interns to support ongoing research projects focused on maternal and child health and community health studies.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in research settings
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for research studies
- Collect data and manage study participants
- Obtain informed consent and ensure confidentiality
- Handle study data in line with ethical guidelines
- Support project operations and assigned duties
Requirements
- Diploma in Community Health Nursing & Midwifery, Community Health & Development, Nutrition, Social Work, or related field
- 1–5 years post-graduation experience
- Must be willing to live and work in Migori
- Passion for maternal, child, and community health
- Willingness to learn research in human subjects under mentorship
- Must be a Kenyan youth below 30 years
- Must have graduated with final certificate
- Nurses must have a valid practicing license and Nursing Council of Kenya registration
- Must provide Certificate of Good Conduct
- Must take personal accident and medical insurance cover
- Strong analytical, report writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
