Finance Intern – Victoria Homestore Kenya
Job Focus: ERP Data Verification & Reconciliation Support
Victoria Homestore Kenya is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Intern with a Part CPA qualification to support data verification, reconciliations, and documentation during the implementation of a new ERP system. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial operations, internal controls, and ERP processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and validity of receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Review, process, and file vendor invoices ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Assist with data entry into the ERP system, ensuring correct posting of transactions.
- Support data verification, reconciliations, and ERP clean-up activities.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations.
- Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports.
- Maintain accounting records and manage documents on SharePoint and physical filing systems.
- Assist with petty cash processing and preparation of payment requisitions/cheques.
- Support month-end financial close activities and internal/external audits.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA II qualification (minimum) required.
- Fresh or recent graduate with up to 2 years’ post-graduation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Good time management, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
